The Industrial Era marks a major turning point in your shelter’s growth. With the discovery of S-Class Precision Parts by Ember Corp, survivors now have the opportunity to upgrade buildings and units beyond level 30, entering a powerful Industrial Level stage.
This guide breaks down how the event works and offers smart strategies to maximize your shelter’s efficiency and your army’s combat power.
In game description
- In an era of extreme resource scarcity, Ember Corp’s top research team has revealed an S-Class patent, Precision Parts, heralding the dawn of the industrial age. By upgrading with Precision Parts, the shelter’s buildings will see a dramatic boost in productivity. Seize the opportunity of this industrial revolution and collect Precision Parts to propel your shelter into a new era of growth!
- Once the Watchtower reaches level 30, survivors can use Precision Parts to upgrade most in-shelter buildings for additional effects.
- Units will also be strengthened by the upgrades to corresponding unit camps. Then all units will be industrially enhanced and possess greater combat abilities.
- Once the Watchtower reaches level 30, survivors can use Precision Parts to upgrade buildings, advancing them to Industry Level. The higher the industry level, the more Precision Parts are needed for upgrades.
- Each upgrade to industry level requires 5 building level-ups. Every level-up enhances the building’s effects, which can be viewed in the building details.
Industrial Age Buildings
Buildings that can be upgraded to the industry level include:

Troop Boost
- Upgrading the unit camps to Industrial Level enhances the corresponding units.
- Unit’s industrial level matches the industry level of their training camps.
- Unit industry levels significantly boost their base attributes, with higher industry levels providing greater attribute boosts.
- Whrn units reach certain industry levels, new unit skills will be unlocked, with skill levels improving as the industry level rises.
- Unit industry levels only enhance combat ability, without affecting training/healing resource consumption, or time costs.
How It Works
Requirements
- Your Watchtower must reach Level 30 to unlock Industrial Upgrades.
- Once unlocked, you can start applying Precision Parts to other buildings.
Industrial Level Upgrades
- Most shelter buildings (resource, production, military, etc.) can be upgraded to Industrial Levels.
- Each Industry Level requires 5 standard building level-ups.
- Example: A building at Lv.30 must reach Lv.35 to unlock Industrial Lv.1, then Lv.40 for Industrial Lv.2, and so on.
- Precision Parts are consumed with each upgrade, and the cost increases with each higher Industrial Level.
Upgrade Effects
- Each Industrial Level boosts the building’s productivity or military function. Benefits vary by building.
- You can view exact bonus effects in each building’s info panel once industrial upgrades are unlocked.
Unit Enhancements
Unit Camps and Industry Level
Upgrading Troop Camps (Shooter Camp, Rider Camp, Warrior Camp, Vehicle Camp) to higher Industrial Levels boosts the unit industry level of the troops they train.
Boosted Attributes
Higher unit industry levels provide:
- Stronger base stats (attack, defense, HP).
- Unlockable special unit skills at certain levels.
- Skill levels scale up with higher Industrial Levels.
No Extra Cost
- Industrial-level units do not cost more to train or heal.
- Training time and resource costs remain the same—only combat effectiveness is improved.
Strategy & Tips
1. Prioritize Key Buildings First
- Start with Training Camps to boost unit strength.
- Upgrade Hospitals and resource buildings next to support sustained battles and economic growth.
2. Farm Precision Parts Efficiently
- Stockpile and target events that offer Precision Parts.
- Participate in alliance events, seasonal tasks, or special challenges that reward Precision Parts.
3. Maximize Efficiency
- Time upgrades with Construction Buffs or Building Speed-up events.
- Upgrade multiple buildings close to the 5-level thresholds (e.g., Lv.30–35) so you can push to Industry Level quickly when Precision Parts are available.
4. Balance Offense and Economy
- While troop power is tempting, remember that economic buildings at higher Industry Levels will produce more materials, giving you long-term sustainability.
5. Monitor Unit Skills
- Check each unit’s Industry Level regularly to know when a new skill unlocks—these can shift your strategy significantly in PvP and PvE.
6. Communicate with Alliance
- Coordinate industry-level upgrades in alliance wars or Glory War for maximum synergy in troop composition and defense.
The Industrial Era is your path to mid- and late-game dominance in Dark War Survival. By smartly upgrading buildings and focusing your Precision Parts where they matter most, your shelter will become a production powerhouse—and your troops a force to be feared.
