How the Glory War Event Works

Glory War is a competitive alliance-based event where alliances battle to dominate by destroying opposing Alliance Centers and earning Glory Points. The event unfolds in distinct phases:

1. Pre-War Deployment Phase

  • Alliances select one of three available seasons as their Truce Period—a time when no attacks occur.
  • Once the Target Lock phase or War Day begins, this truce cannot be changed.

2. Target Lock Phase (Monday)

  • The alliance leader or high-ranking members (R4) select a specific opposing alliance as their target.
  • This lock is final; no changes can be made once the target is set.

3. War Day and War Phase (Tuesday)

  • All survivors receive a healing buff to prepare for battle.
  • Combat sessions begin outside the chosen truce periods for both alliances.
  • Survivors may teleport to enemy States if they are in different States, but cannot attack enemy Watchtowers during these movements. Likewise, their own Watchtowers are immune from attacks during this phase.
  • Attacking enemy Alliance Centers must follow this order:
Alliance Center I → Alliance Center II → Alliance Center III.

4. Glory Points and Personal Contribution

  • Each owned Alliance Center increases Glory Point gains by 25%.
  • Destroying an opponent’s Alliance Center awards 60 million Glory Points.
  • Destroying the opponent’s Season Building grants 100,000 Glory Points.
  • Damaging buildings and defeating enemy units also earn Glory Points and Personal Contribution points.
  • Personal Contribution points affect individual rewards and rankings within the alliance.

5. Victory Conditions

  • Immediate victory if one alliance destroys all opposing Alliance Centers.
  • If time expires, the alliance with higher Glory Points wins.
  • The winning alliance loots 20% of the losing alliance’s season points as rewards.

Tips for Glory War Success

  • Coordinate Your Truce Period Wisely: Choose a truce season that minimizes conflict with your alliance’s active hours and maximizes preparation time.
  • Communicate Target Lock Decisions: Make sure all members know which alliance is targeted to avoid wasted attacks or friendly fire.
  • Focus on Alliance Centers in Order: Attacking the first Alliance Center unlocks access to the next—plan coordinated strikes to break through quickly.
  • Use Teleportation Strategically: Teleporting allows fast repositioning but remember you can’t attack Watchtowers while cross-state. Use this to flank or reinforce allies.
  • Maximize Glory Point Gains: Focus on damaging enemy Alliance Centers and Season Buildings and defeating units to maximize points.
  • Heal and Prepare: Use the healing buff on War Day to sustain longer fights and maintain pressure on the enemy.
  • Balance Defense and Offense: Protect your own Alliance Centers while aggressively pushing on enemy ones. Don’t leave your base vulnerable.
  • Personal Contribution Matters: Encourage all members to participate actively—higher personal contributions mean better individual rewards.
